Τη Δευτέρα 18/11/2019, στις 18.30-21.00, στη Νησίδα της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής (1ος όροφος), στο Νέο Κτήριο θα διεξαχθεί, στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Erasmus+, ομιλία της καθηγήτριας του Τμήματος Μετάφρασης και Διερμηνείας του Πανεπιστημίου της Salamanca, Goedele De Sterck, με τίτλο: «Translating science: comparing different translation tools».
Σύντομο βιογραφικό της ομιλήτριας
Goedele De Sterck (1966) holds a PhD in Spanish Linguistics and is affiliated as a lecturer and researcher with the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Salamanca, where she teaches Scientific and Technical Translation, Journalistic Translation and Literary Translation from French and Dutch into Spanish. She has been working as a literary translator for almost twenty years and has about a hundred titles to her name. She also writes about translation, gives lectures, moderates workshops, gives online courses and acts as a mentor to prospective translators. In 2018 she was awarded the Letterenfonds Vertalersprijs. She is closely involved in the PETRA-E Network, MediterraNed and Small is Great (CEATL).
