Panagiotis Arvanitis is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Teaching of the Faculty of French Language and Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). His research work and publications focus on Digital Technologies in Education and Language Teaching/Learning. He is involved in multimedia databases, multilingual electronic dictionaries, electronic corpora, multimedia online environments, and their applications in language education/training. Additionally, he works on learning through mobile devices and digital games, applications of virtual and augmented reality, as well as Artificial Intelligence and conversational robots. He has participated in national and international conferences, published articles in Greek and international scientific journals, and contributed to collective volumes. He is involved in National or European research programs and teacher training programs on New Technologies.
